“The Grenade” from MTV’s Jersey Shore, speaks out to njrockstar.com

In an exclusive telephone interview, njrockstar.com spoke with “The Grenade” (the malicious nickname given to a young NJ woman named Barbara Kleinkauf, who made an appearance on MTV’s hit series “Jersey Shore”). In our interview with her, she addressed issues that there was more to her story than what had aired and did not want to be judged by her brief appearance. She went on to mention that after the airing, she has had no real chance to defend herself from the verbal attacks against her. Apparently, she is currently in talks with MTV executives to bring her back on “season 2”. Will she agree to appear? Only time will tell.

Below are her exact words from her statement:

“There are two sides to every story. There is no way I can explain my actions on the “jersey shore”, it was completely out of character. My apology does not go out to “Snookie” but Nicole, the events in which took place was not her fault and indefinitely antagonized by a certain “situation” in the MTV house. I am definitely a fan of the show as well as a part of it. “The Grenade” was meant to be a malice nickname; however it holds a large definition and not something that I am ashamed or embarrassed of. Getting my side of the story out is my goal and an opportunity for the public to get the inside scoop on the events in which I was involved with.
I thank NJRockstar.com for taking the time to speak with me and to help get my word out to the public.”
